This tiny space is cute & cozy for my art making and teaching. Every inch of the space is used in clever ways. Organizing is another passion of mine and this space has been such a fun puzzle to accommodate all of my artistic interests. The drawing table, given to me when I was a child, looks out to a tiny picket fence surrounding my friendship garden filled with flowering plants from friends’ gardens. The pressed-flower mandalas and framing projects take place on an old wallpapering table. Under the stairs is the cutting table, which is the top of a flat file that is full of my watercolor illustrations. Clay creations are made in a bright spot by a window and skylight. The whale lamp and my Great-Grandmother’s wooden flip-top desk is angled for pen & ink doodling.
